SALT Report 2010 – The Idaho State Tax Commission announced that they are in the process of changing all preprinted tax returns and payment vouchers that have a scan line on the bottom. On the old forms the scan line consisted of either a Social Security number or a Federal Employer Identification Number. In order to protect taxpayers the new forms will use an account number issued by the Commission to ensure that no SSN’s or EIN’s are visible on returns or payment vouchers.
Additionally, the Commission has added or revised the following tax forms:
- PTE-NROA Idaho Nonresident Owner Agreement – This form must be submitted by nonresident owners of pass-through entities that do not want to be included in a composite return filed by the entity.
