Wyoming – Gratuities Excluded From Sales Tax

SALT Report 2178 – The Wyoming State Legislature passed a bill that exempts from sales tax all gratuities or tips, whether offered by the customer or invoiced by the seller, from the sales price paid for meals and cover charges at any place where meals are regularly served to the public.

The bill goes into effect July 1, 2013.
