California – Free Tax Seminar and Resource Expo for Small Businesses

SALT Report 2268 – The California State Board of Equalization is offering a small business tax seminar and resource expo on March 26, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. The seminar will be hosted by Michelle Steel, Vice Chair of the California State Board of Equalization.

The seminar is designed to help businesses better understand California’s sales and use tax laws, small business ownership, doing business with the State of California, and marketing for small businesses. Presentations will be given by representatives from the BOE, the Employment Development Department, the Franchise Tax Board, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of General Services and the Small Business Administration.
