Colorado – Deadline for Refund Application Extended

SALT Report 2302 – The Colorado General Assembly recently extended the deadline in which a taxpayer can file an application for a Colorado sales and use tax refund to three years after the 20th day of the month following the date of purchase or, three years after the initial date of storage, use or consumption in the state by the person applying for the refund.

Previously, the deadline was three years after the date of purchase.

This Act will take effect on August 7, 2013.
