SALT Report 2570 – The California State Board of Equalization is offering a free small business seminar on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in Garden Grove, CA. The seminar is designed for business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals who would like to start or expand a business in California. The seminar will address state and federal tax laws, business owner responsibilities, licensing requirements, and more.
The seminar will be hosted by Michelle Steel, Vice Chair of the California State Board of Equalization, and the Coastline Community College’s Institute for Economic Development. Presentations will be made and a Q&A will be offered by representatives from the BOE, the Employment Development Department, the Franchise Tax Board, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Department of General Services.
