Missouri – Search for Revoked Sales Tax Licenses

SALT Report 3003 – On September 15, 2013 the Missouri Department of Revenue updated its program that allows taxpayer’s to see if a business has had its sales tax license revoked for failure to remit the sales tax it collects from its customers.  In addition, the Department states that they have started including the names of businesses that have had their sales tax license revoked for failing to remit income withholding taxes on behalf of their employees.

The Department’s database allows taxpayers to search for a business with a revoked sales tax license by county, city, business name, or Missouri Tax ID Number/Sales Tax License Number.
