“Oklahoma City’s sales tax collections are up over this time last year but still short of budget projections.
Combined with last month’s shortfall, sales tax is running about $846,000 behind what was expected for the first two months of the fiscal year.
The city took in about $18.8 million in sales taxes for the general fund, up 2.4 percent from August 2014. The budget target was for 2.9 percent growth.”
