Colorado – Marijuana Sales Tax Revenue Allocation Vote

SALT Report 3741 – Voters in Colorado and Denver agreed to let the government keep the revenue from sales tax on marijuana sales, with a pair of measures on the matter passing, overwhelmingly. The two measures on the Nov. 3 ballot — one statewide across Colorado and the other on the city of Denver’s ballot — asked voters to decide whether to let the government keep millions in sales-tax revenue from marijuana sales or give it back to pot shops and taxpayers.
