Colorado – Mead Board of Trustees Submits Sales Tax Increase On November ballot

The Mead Board of Trustees voted unanimously Monday to send a one percent sales and use tax hike question to voters on the November ballot that, if passed, would help fund the town’s fledgling police department and road repairs. The sales and use tax rate in Mead, currently two percent, would rise to three percent with voter consent to generate an estimated extra $904,000.
