As of September 13, 2018 The Nevada Tax Commission Unanimously decided to fall in order with South Dakota’s decision in the previous South Dakota v. Wayfair case, regarding online sellers and collecting sales tax.
“Nevada moved one step closer to passing rules requiring online retailers to collect and remit sales taxes, with a target start date of Oct. 1.
The Nevada Tax Commission unanimously approved Sept. 13 a regulation proposing the same thresholds as the South Dakota statute at the center of the U.S. Supreme Court’s groundbreaking decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair. The regulation must go to a legislative commission for final approval.”
