Tennessee – What You Need To Know About Tax Free Weekend In Tennessee

If you’re a fan of saving money — and who isn’t? — mark your calendar for Tennessee’s tax free weekend, July 26-28.

During the annual sales tax holiday, items like clothing, school supplies and some tech are sold tax-free, with some restrictions. But the weekend deals are definitely not just for families.

Getting an almost 10 percent tax break adds to your buying power, and there are even better savings with many retailers sweetening the deals with special offers and other promotions during the weekend.

Think of items you are going to need in the coming months, not just for your children’s school year, but also for your home, your office and your closet. You could even do a little bit of Christmas shopping during this annual three-day shopapalooza.

If you have been waiting to buy a new laptop, or new shoes, clothing under $100 or any other items on the lengthy exempt list, this is a good weekend to make your moves.
